What are the main benefits of setting up a company in Thailand under the Smart S Visa?

Setting up a business under the Smart S Visa is an incredible way to do business in Thailand. Many of the usual restrictions that make doing business in Thailand more costly and difficult are removed.

The two main benefits are that it is NOT required for you to have 4 full-time Thai employees per foreigner and it is NOT required to have 2 million Baht capital.

Smart S Visa Application Timeline:

1. It takes our team 1 month to complete and submit your 6-month application *unless applicant pays an expediting fee to have it completed in 7 business days.

2. You may be required to have a Zoom interview with the Smart Visa Unit or submit additional information upon request. The standard processing time is 60 days from submission, however government delays may result in a longer waiting period before receiving your result.

3. Once we receive the official result, we will help you coordinate your visa pickup.

 After receiving the 6-month Smart S Visa, if applying for the 2-year extension:

1. Begin company formation 1 month after obtaining the 6-month Smart Visa. The company setup process takes about 1 month to complete.

2. We complete and submit the 2-year application. You will need to provide proof of some app development progress.

3. You may be required to have a Zoom interview with the Smart Visa Unit or submit additional information upon request. The standard processing time is 60 days from submission, however government delays may result in a longer waiting period before receiving your result.

4. Once we receive the official result, we will help you coordinate your visa pickup.
